Karen L. Kruskal is a partner in the firm and has been practicing law for over 25 years. Her law practice focuses primarily on the areas of real estate law; lead paint poisoning, closed head injuries, and other personal injury litigation; and the representation of lesbian and gay clients including same sex couple adoptions. Ms. Kruskal was a trial counsel in the first major verdict in a lead poisoning case in 1982, and she and the firm have since been responsible for a number of major Massachusetts court decisions in lead poisoning cases. She has consulted to and handled cases on referral from attorneys statewide, and has authored articles and spoken frequently on the subject of childhood lead poisoning, buying and selling real estate, wills, trusts, and other estate planning, and legal protections for gay and lesbian clients. She is a graduate of Northeastern University Law School and Colby College.
